Eco tourism Kenya
Safaris is to promote ecotourism and sustainable
environmental practices in Kenya. Ecotourism is
there to Sustain Tourism and Responsible Travel in
Africa.
Eco tourism in kenya is an insightful, mindful and
participatory travel experience to natural and
cultural environments, assisting the well being of
the local cultures and environments for future
generations. At the same time ecotourism produces
viable economic opportunities for the host areas.
Ecotourism focuses on socially responsible travel,
personal growth, and environmental sustainability.
Eco tour typically involves travel to destinations
where flora, fauna, and cultural heritage are the
primary attractions. Ecotourism is intended to
offer tourists insight into the impact of human
beings on the environment, and to foster a greater
appreciation of our natural habitats. We consider
an Eco Tour to be a trip that causes minimal
impact to the environment and local people.
The site is usually culturally and biologically
diverse and attracts tourists who have a common
interest in nature, wildlife and culture. By
choosing to go on an Eco Tour you will be given a
unique opportunity to learn and experience nature,
to interact with the local communities in their
day to day lives, and to have some impact on the
lives of the locals even as they earn directly
from your visit. In addition a greater awareness
of environmental issues will be developed as well
as learning practices that can be incorporated in
to your everyday routine on your return home.
